The Employment Action Plan of the City of Prnjavor for the period 2023-2027 was adopted at the session of the Economic Council of the City of Prnjavor held in 2023. The Action Plan represents the basic instrument for implementing an active employment policy and establishing an efficient labor market system, which defines the priorities and objectives of the employment policy. 10 active employment measures have been identified that will be implemented in the period 2023-2027.
The document contains an implementation plan (in detail for 2023), which determines the programs, measures and projects that will be implemented in the territory of the city in order to achieve the set goals and achieve a sustainable increase in employment. The basis for determining the Action Plan is the Employment Strategy of the Republic of Srpska for the period 2016-2020 and the Development Strategy of the City of Prnjavor 2020-2028.
The Action Plan answers the questions of how the local community, within its capabilities and using the potential of all relevant partners in the labor market, can intervene and facilitate the unemployed to obtain the necessary conditions for employment, and how to intervene systematically to alleviate this problem in the future.
The members of the Council are significant actors in the City's labor market:
Representatives of secondary vocational schools
Representatives of the Employment Service,
Representatives of the Department for Local Economic Development and Social Activities of the city and
Representatives of local enterprises.
The Council acts as a permanent working group within the Economic Council and is responsible for identifying, initiating and monitoring the implementation of employment measures in the city area, as well as for other activities important for the harmonization of supply and demand in the city's labor market. The Council has been operating very successfully since October 2017 in the form of a working group for the development of the Prnjavor City Employment Action Plan for the period 2018 - 2020, and the decision to establish the Council will contribute to the necessary sustainability of the Council's work even after the adoption of the first Action Plan. Upon the expiration of the Employment Action Plan for the period 2018-2020, a new Employment Action Plan for the period 2023-2027 was developed and adopted.
